Pikey via Dudhkunda Trekking

About This Trek

The Pikey Trek is an open to trekking course among the others treks with pikey top (4,068m) being one of the tallest mountains of Solu (marsh of Everest area). Name of the Pikey is taken from the two names of the Sherpa individuals. It is notable for its lofty dawns, Himalayan range, Sherpa culture and their customs. This trail through breeze its way through Jiri, Chaulakharka, and Nagaur to come to the Pikey Danda (Hill) area. Another trail will lead from Pikey Danda to Phaplu through Panch pokari and Tamakhani which is led us at the north east from the central district of Salleri.

On our first stage, the sloping area is overshadowed by lush rhododendron, pine,  and fir forests. The nature changes from feeling like in a wilderness to a situation which appears as though it was molded by hand. On little and incompletely shrewdly cleared pathways we walk here and there, we cross mountain passes and use suspension bridges to cross rivers. At the point when it's sufficiently warm, the sweet or resinous possess an aroma similar to the blooms tops off the air and every once in a while we need to give the path free for pack donkeys. An amicable "namaste" and grinning confronts welcome us all over.

After four days in this lovely hilly area, we climb up the Pikey Peak. We start in the early morning for catching the breathtaking view of the sunrise above the mountains of the Himalayan range - among them the big seven: Mt. Everest, Kanchenjunga, Lhotse, Makalu, Manaslu, Annapurna and Sishapangma, all of them higher than 8000m.
